  • Feb. 18 - ???: Reading Romans with Luther

Thy Will Be Done

Join us for a special Lenten study that ties into the Lenten Midweek Services' theme "Thy Will Be Done". This study digs deeper into the themes and messages taken from Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane that we're studying on Wednesday nights.

Reading Romans with Luther: A new adult Bible study starting 2/18!

Have you ever really read Romans? It's a big, complex book, but it provides a clear and compelling picture of our need for God, the love He showed us in Christ, and the new life we live in Him through the Holy Spirit. Using the book "Reading Romans with Luther" by R.J. Grunewald as a guide, we'll explore the major themes of Romans, what Luther taught about them, and how they apply to our life today.

Men in Prayer

Join the men of LCS in Luther Hall the first Saturday of each month at 7:30 AM year-round to spend time in devotion and prayer for each other and for our congregation. Breakfast is served, and it's always delicious.

Women's Bible Study

Ladies come together to study God’s Word and how it pertains to their lives. They study Scripture, share and discuss important points and topics, apply what they learn to life situations, and pray together. Join us Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am. All are welcome!

Please note: The Ladies Bible study will not meet April 17th as we follow the school schedule  and this is April break week.

Ladies Bible Study will begin a new series on April 24th. We will be working through a study  called, “Unveiled Faces” by Donna Pyle. This is a four week study centered on 2 Corinthians 3:17-18. The lesson titles are: The Lord is the Spirit, LIBERTY!, Veils and Mirrors, and Wonderful Transformation. Please join us at 9:30 in Luther Hall where we will learn, share, love and laugh. There is no cost for this study.

Women's Ministry

A variety of events take place year-round, social and educational, for women of all ages — dinners out, museum tours, brunches, book studies, and much more. The first weekend of October, we host a Women's Ministry Retreat at the Fransiscan Guest House in Kennebunkport, Maine.

The first Wednesday of Advent the ladies enjoy a special evening of fellowship to prepare their hearts for the coming of the Savior — Advent by Candlelight.

Guests are welcome at all events!
