Christian Education
As Christians in the modern world, it is critical for us to understand what we believe, to teach it well, and be “always prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have… with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15).
No matter where you are in your journey of faith, there’s a place for you to connect: from preschoolers up through retired pastors, we’re a place where you can ask questions and meet Jesus in new and exciting ways! You can check out some posts about our current and previous classes below.
Children's Sunday School
For the youngest members of our church family, we offer a variety of Sunday School classes that teach the Bible in engaging and age-appropriate ways. We join together with an all-ages opening at 9:30 AM, and then split out into groups by age. Through stories, songs, crafts, and games, we learn about who God is and how much He loves us!
Confirmation
For those wishing to to learn more about what it means to worship God in the Lutheran tradition, we offer Confirmation, a multi-module course in the fundamentals of the faith. By studying the Bible, the Catechism, and other other resources, we learn what God has done for us and how we might respond to His love. Contact the pastor for more information about this class.
Adult Christian Education
So, you think you graduated from Sunday School? Well, there’s always more to learn in Christ! Join in one of our adult education offerings, where we dig into scripture, read an interesting book about the faith, or work through a topical study together. We range from those just starting to explore life with Christ up through seasoned veterans on the journey, so there’s a place for you. Studies are led by the pastor, elders, and other members of the church family at various times throughout the year.
Ladies' Bible Study
Every Tuesday morning, women of the congregation are invited to join in Bible study, fellowship, and prayer as we study scripture and share life together. Studies vary throughout the year, but it’s always interesting and it’s always fun.
