Opportunities to Learn, Serve, and Proclaim!

The purpose of Christian Fine Arts at the Lutheran Church of the Savior is to glorify and proclaim Christ through various art forms. It is also an on-going celebration of the many gifts and talents God has lovingly bestowed on this congregation. Throughout the year there are many opportunities to share your special gifts with our church family.

SUNDAY MORNING CHOIR sings in our worship services. All are welcome to join us. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm in the church sanctuary. We welcome voices of all experience levels, just as long as you have the love of God and music in your heart! (Tyler Hoyt, conductor; Kimberly Kleckner, accompanist)

CONCERT CHOIR performs throughout the year during special church festivals — Reformation Sunday, All Saints Day, Thanksgiving Eve Worship, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday. They also have special performances at various times throughout the year. The Concert Choir is open to all members and friends of LCS. When necessary the choir rehearses Thursday evenings at 8:20 PM or Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM. Why not check it out? (Tyler Hoyt, conductor)

MEN’S CHOIR comes together now and then to sing the Sunday morning anthem. If you are one of those who doesn’t wish to make the full commitment to join the Sunday morning choir, but wishes to sing every so often, please consider joining us. (Rod Sundet, conductor)

WOMEN’S CHOIR sings occasional Sundays and during holiday seasons. Please consider joining us. (Andrea Hoyt, conductor)

Instrumental Music

BRASS CHOIR — Brass instruments have always been a part of worship right back to temple worship. If you play a brass instrument, please come forward to share your gift.

INSTRUMENTAL NEEDS — We are always on the lookout for instrumental musicians. Please come forward if you can help with Easter, musicals, or other festival Sundays throughout the year.

Visual Arts

BANNER MINISTRY - Sets of 16ft banners hang in the sanctuary as a bold, artistic representation of each liturgical season. All have been designed and lovingly hand-made by our congregation. There is little or no sewing which means anyone can participate. Look for the call for help in the announcements.
