Sunday School

Be a part of learning about God’s Word through Scripture exploration and hands-on activities. Our Sunday School program offers an exciting opportunity for God’s children ages 3 and up to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.

Classes for ALL ages are offered at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings where God’s children have the opportunity to learn more about Christ’s saving action for them and for the world through the Gospel. The classes are taught by dynamic, dedicated teachers, enthusiastic about sharing their faith in Christ with others.

This is a time when our young adults meet to learn in depth about the basic teachings of Christianity in the six chief parts of Luther's Small Catechism — the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, Baptism, Repentance and Forgiveness, and the Lord’s Supper.

The program culminates in a special service in which each youth confirms their faith in front of the congregation. LCS is using a two-year process, usually for students in seventh and eighth grades. The Rite of Confirmation will be celebrated on Reformation Sunday near the end of October of the students' freshman year of High School.

Youth Groups

Youth gather together with “Friends in Faith” once a month for a fellowship. Activities include Bible Study, service event, meal, or an action-pked activity such as laser tag, scavenger hunts, or a trip to nearby Kimballs. We will be partnering with youth from area LCMS congregations so new friendships can be formed as we have fun. Check our calendar frequently for updated activities.

All youth in Grades 6 thru 12 are encouraged to join in the fun!

Every three years youth attend the LCMS National Youth Gathering where 30,000+ teens from around the world come together for fellowship, service and study. Youth having completed their freshman year thru senior year of High School are eligible to participate. For more information visit
